Director, Finance & Strategic Planning

Raptive is seeking a Director, Finance & Strategic Planning to join our team! Reporting to the Vice-President, Finance & Strategic Planning, the Director will play a critical role in shaping the Company’s long-term business strategy and execution during an exciting period of growth. What you’ll be doing: 

• Managing core FP&A responsibilities, overseeing the analysis, review, and explanation of monthly/quarterly/annual operating financial statements including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Work closely with the Data & Analytics and Data Engineering teams to ensure that we’re identifying, producing, and distributing actionable reporting across the metrics that matter most.
• Analysis of KPIs across the business in order to generate meaningful insights to discover new opportunities, identify potential threats, and drive intelligent, sound decision-making
• Creating and maintaining financial models, valuations and other in-depth financial and data analysis
• Provide revenue and profitability analyses at various levels in the organization
• Developing presentation materials for management and the Board of Directors
• Ongoing monitoring of market developments in the industry
• Working with senior management team to perform scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Working with management and third-party providers to research and assess new services and revenue models that can optimize business processes
• Supporting annual budget, periodic forecast updates and strategic planning cycles
• Ongoing maintenance and improvements of KPI dashboards

The skills and experience you bring to the job:

• Extremely strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills
• Proficient in construction and maintenance of detailed 3-statement operating models
• Demonstrated sound business judgment
• Experience working with large data sets from disparate sources
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets user; flexible and creative approach to complex modeling and data presentation
• Experience with Sigma, Redash, Salesforce and/or Snowflake a plus
• AdTech or digital media experience preferred
• 3 to 5+ years of professional experience that includes one or more of the following:
  • 2+ years in a principal investing role (private equity, hedge fund, etc.)
  • 2+ years in investment banking or management consulting combined with 1+ year in an investing role
  • 2+ years in a corporate financial role focused on FP&A and strategy
• Undergraduate degree with strong academic record

The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$140,000. The range provided is Raptive’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills and abilities. This role is eligible for additional  incentive compensation that isn’t included in the posted range.
